Private tutor in Thomson, GA
Education
Sophmore Accounting Major at Augusta State University with a 3.71 GPA. Honor graduate from Thomson High School
Experience
There were numerous occasions when I helped my Accounting teacher in high school teach the class. When she was absent for any reason, she left me the instructions, and I taught the class with the supervision of another certified teacher. I scored a perfect score on the Mathematics portion of the Georgia High School Graduation Test. I scored at the Honors level of English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. My SAT scores are the following: Math: 570 Reading: 540 Writing: 600 Total: 1710. I took advanced math classes throughout High School, completing each class: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, & Calculus with an "A" in each. Also, I placed 1st in Accounting 1 at the Region level of FBLA and 8th at the state level. I was the chapter treasurer, and helped out with all monetary duties so that the teachers would have less stress to deal with. I want to be at tutor because I know what it is like to struggle with something. My second semester in college was the first time that I struggled with school, but I ended the semester with a 3.80 GPA out of the 4 classes that I took. I believe that I am capable of helping people reach their full potential in subjects they are struggling in. By no means am I a genius, but I believe that I am smarter than average, and I want to be able to share what I have learned throughout my education with students who are having trouble with the subject matter.
